Live Video and Audio in Brazen, through 1:1 Video/Audio Chat, Group Video, or BrazenLive Broadcasts, is a powerful way to engage during events and ensure personal, meaningful connections.
You must enable access to your camera and microphone in order to use these features. If your video or audio is not working, you may need to change your PC's settings or your browser's permissions.
See below for instructions on how to check your PC settings and enable your camera and microphone for your particular browser. Click here if you don't know which browser you're using.

PC Settings
Check your camera & microphone permissions in your PC settings
- Open your PC Settings, then click Privacy.
- Click Camera or Microphone.
- Toggle on Allow apps to access your camera/Allow apps to access your microphone.
Google Chrome
Check your camera & microphone permissions in Google Chrome

At the top right of your browser, click the kebab
menu, then click Settings.
- Click Privacy and Security, then click Site Settings.
- Then, click Camera or Microphone and review your settings.
- Use the dropdown menu to select your default camera or microphone.
- Ensure Default Behavior is set to Sites can ask to use your camera/Sites can ask to use your microphone.
- Check that app.brazenconnect.com is not blocked from using your camera or microphone.
- To allow a site you have already blocked, select the site's name to open the options. Select Allow in the Camera or Microphone dropdown menu.
Firefox
Check your camera & microphone permissions in Firefox

At the top right of your browser, click the hamburger
menu, then click Settings.
- Scroll down to the Permissions section.
- Locate Camera or Microphone, then click Settings. You will see a list of websites with existing camera or microphone permissions.
- Locate app.brazenconnect.com on the Websites list.
- In the Status dropdown menu, select Allow.
- Click Save Changes.
Microsoft Edge (MS Edge)

At the top right of your browser, click the meatball
menu, then click Settings.
- Click Cookies and site permissions.
- Scroll down to the Site permissions section. Then, click Camera or Microphone and review your settings.
- Use the dropdown menu to select your default camera or microphone.
- Toggle on Ask before accessing.
- Check that app.brazenconnect.com is not blocked from using your camera or microphone.
- To allow a site you have already blocked, click the Trash icon. The next time you use the site's video feature, MS Edge will ask to access your camera. Click Allow.
