Brazen Administrators can update Event Language settings in order to enhance the event experience for a global audience. This lets you host events in a specific language, or permit your event attendees to switch the language of any non-editable text in the platform in order to improve their individual experience.
At this time, available languages for the Brazen platform are English and Canadian French.

Enable Event Languages
Contact your Brazen Account Manager to enable event languages on your account. Once enabled, you can create an event and update Event Language(s) from the Event Home page.
English is set as the default language. To enable Français (Canada) as a language for your event, click Enabled.
If you would like to translate all non-editable platform text for participants to Canadian French automatically, click Set As Default, and save your changes.
Toggle Languages in an Event
If you have enabled multiple languages for your event, participants may toggle between language preferences at the bottom of the left-hand live event sidebar. When a participant makes this selection, all non-editable text within Brazen's event platform will be translated into the language of their choice.
These settings only update the non-editable text within your Brazen event, and will not change the text in email notifications or the Brazen Control Center. |
Editable Text in an Event
When an event has a non-English language enabled, or an event participant chooses to select a preferred language other than English, all system-driven text, other than certain exclusions, is translated.
However, some text displayed on event pages that are not translated can be modified by a Brazen Administrator. And, non-English characters are accepted in field labels, if needed. For example, you may change the field labels in a Registration Form, as shown below.
To modify a value for a field, click its pencil icon, or Edit.
Under Field Label, enter a translation in one or two languages, and click Save.

Language Settings for Templates & Series
If you create a template from an event with pre-configured language settings, those settings will apply to any event created from the template. |
When Event Languages are enabled by your Brazen Account Manager, you will also gain access to it in your Series Settings. Any language preferences saved in Series Settings apply to all events in that series.
