Account Administrators can update Event Language settings in order to enhance the event experience for a global audience. These options allow you to host events in a specific language, or permit your event attendees to switch the language of any non-editable text in the platform in order to improve their individual experience.
At this time, available languages for the Brazen platform are English and Canadian French.
Enabling Event Languages
Contact your Brazen Account Manager to enable the Event Languages feature. Once enabled, you can create an event as usual and update the language options on the Event Home.
The Event Language(s) modal indicates which language is the default for the event, and includes check box options to enable additional languages.
All new events will have English (US) as the default language. You can select the checkbox to enable Français (Canada) as a language for your event. If you would like to present all non-editable platform text to participants in Canadian French automatically, you can select the Set as Default button. Be sure to save your changes after updating your event language settings.
If you have multiple languages enabled, Participants can toggle between language preferences at the bottom of the left menu while in your event. When a participant makes this selection, all non-editable text within Brazen's event platform will be translated to the language of their choice, improving their overall experience.
These settings only update the non-editable text within your Brazen event, and will not change text in email notifications or Brazen Control Center.
Language Settings for Templates and Series
If you create a template from an event with pre-configured language settings, those settings will apply to any event created from the template.
When your Account Manager enables the Event Languages feature, you will also have access to the Event Language(s) modal in your Series settings. Any language preferences saved in your Series settings will apply to all events in that series.
