Group Video booths allow multiple event participants to connect within one audio/video session! Group Video booths are gathered in their own convenient tab at the top of the event Lobby, and are indicated with an icon at the top right of their booth card.
You can also find the Group Video booth icon next to their booth titles in Search Booths.
Get in Line to Chat
To get in line for a Group Video booth chat, click Enter on the booth's Lobby card. Or, select its toggle in your search results. Then, click the green Chat button at the top of the screen.
Group Video booths are limited to nine total participants, including hosts. When a Group Video session is started by a host, it is locked by default, and attendees are only let in once it is unlocked. You are then added to the group chat as space becomes available.
If you need to take a break or step away from the event, you can toggle your Chat Availability in the left sidebar to "Unavailable" and your spot in the Group Video line will be reserved for when you are available again.
Group Video tiles display as a grid within the session, and any hosts are pinned to the top left of the grid and labeled, and all tiles display a first name. You can also view all hosts names and profile pictures in the People tab.
Participate in a Group Video Chat
In order to participate in a Group Video chat, your browser must allow Brazen permission to use your camera and microphone.
If you encounter any issues using audio or video in a Group Video booth, see our article, Troubleshooting Audio & Video for Live Video Features in Brazen.
A glowing orange indicator at the top right of a tile indicates when a person is speaking.
Controls at the bottom of your screen let you toggle your camera and audio on and off, or you can click the Leave button to leave the booth.
When you enter the booth, your camera and microphone are disabled by default. When your video is off and/or your audio is muted, the controls turn red and show a slash through their icon. When your video is disabled, Brazen displays your profile picture instead.
You can simultaneously chat in one-on-one text chats in other booths in an event while chatting in a Group Video booth. Once you leave the Group Video session, you can return to using audio and video in your one-on-one chats.
|You can accept Scheduled Chats while chatting in a Group Video booth, but they are limited to text only.|
Easily toggle between chats on the left side of your Chats screen.
