The event landing screen is a key marketing tool to attract participants to your event and drive registration conversion. When a potential candidate/attendee opens your event link, the event landing screen will be the first thing they see before signing up to attend the event.
While it’s important to provide information to potential participants, every landing page should start with a great design to make your event pop.
Landing page images are responsive to your browser’s dimensions. This affects the visibility of the image content. We recommend that you do not include text in your landing page image itself as the image does not display consistently across all devices and screen sizes. Read about device responsiveness below.

Select a Landing Screen Type
From your Event Home, click Landing Screen. Then, click Design.
The Design page is where you can customize the look and feel of your event landing page. Choose between the standard Brazen landing screen, the legacy Brazen landing screen or a custom landing screen.
Choose Your Landing Screen Background Image
The standard Brazen landing screen lets you choose from various background images, including a custom image. To use an image saved on your device as the background of your landing screen, select the Custom Image box, then click Upload.
Your image will be resized to 1600px by 1067px. You should use an image close to this size or larger with a 4:3 ratio to avoid image warping. Images with smaller resolutions are transformed in the upload process which may cause pixelation.
Your image must be a jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, or tiff file.
Transform Your Uploaded Image
Control Center allows you to modify how the image is presented within the fixed dimension mentioned above.
All of these tools offer more flexibility when editing an image that is equal to or larger than the fixed dimension (1600px by 1067px).
Expand or shrink the image to fit the dimension.
Limit and pad
Resize the image with padding to fit the dimension.
Limit and fill
Resize and use only a portion of the original image.
Crop with free transform
Use handles in the preview image to crop.
Brazen’s platform is optimized for all devices, and the landing page layout is dependent on the screen dimensions of the user's device. The width of the screen affects the visibility of your background image. Your full image may not always be visible or may be distorted as the image size responds to the user's screen size.

Switch to a New Landing Screen Design
Peer Networking, Mixed Networking, and Open House events or event templates can utilize the new Landing Screen as well as the Legacy and Custom Landing Screen.
On your event or template's Design page, select your desired landing screen design. You can update any existing event or template to the new design.
Select Landing Screen from the options. Select a background image from the available default images or upload your own.
To update any editable fields on the new landing screen, open the Content page. You can modify the following fields:
- Event Logo
- Who should attend? — A simple text field to let participants know your target attendee (i.e., Alumni in Technology, Rockstar consultants, Engineering jobseekers).
- About the event sponsor — A custom text area to talk about your organization or other details for the event.
