Enter the booth you want to chat in from the lobby.
In the upper right-hand corner of your screen you will now see a large green button labeled "Chat." Click the button to begin engaging in 1-on-1 chats with participants in line for your booth. Your status in this panel will then change to "Waiting to chat," and the button will turn orange and be labeled "Cancel."
If you need to take a break for any reason, click the orange "Cancel" button and this panel will return to its previous state with the green "Chat" button.
You will hear an audible "ping" notification when it is your turn to chat with a participant, and will be automatically taken to the chat screen.
NOTE: The "Chat" button will not be visible until the event begins. You may need to refresh your page after the event begins in order to view this button.
That's it! You will automatically be placed into chats with participants as they also become available. Enjoy your event! Questions? Please email email@example.com
Video & Audio Chatting
As a Representative, you'll have the option to transition from a text-based conversation directly to a video or audio chat.
Video & Audio chat will only be available once a representative has been connected to an attendee. Once you are connected, you will be able to initiate a video or audio call by selecting the video or call icon in the top right.
After clicking on the video icon, you'll be asked to confirm your selection - once you're ready to start the video call, click Start and a video invitation will be sent to the attendee (View this article to learn more about the attendee's video experience).
You'll receive one more notification prompting you to allow Brazen access to your microphone and camera - click "Allow" and your camera will turn on. Once the attendee accepts your video chat invitation, you'll be connected in a 1-on-1 video chat with the attendee.
If either party encounters any connectivity issues that block them from accessing the video or audio chat feature, the video/audio chat invitation will be canceled and the chat will resume as a standard text chat. The Chat Countdown Timer
Just like standard text chat booths, Video and Audio chats are timed - both the representative and attendee will be able to see the timer countdown as they engage in their video or audio chat. If the chat timer runs out during a video or audio chat, the chat will automatically end, and you will be brought to the rating screen.
