Enter the booth you want to chat in from the Event Lobby.
Then, click the green Chat button at the top of the booth to begin chatting 1-on-1 with Attendees in line for your booth. Your status then changes to "Waiting to chat." If you need to take a break from chatting for any reason, click the Cancel button.

In order to view a BrazenLive Broadcast during an event, you must click Cancel to turn off your chat availability for the duration of the presentation. If you remain open to chats, you are pulled away from BrazenLive Broadcasts to join in chats with waiting Attendees. |
Start Chatting
An audible "ping" notification sounds when it is your turn to chat with an Attendee, and you are automatically taken to the chat screen.

The Chat button is not visible until the event begins. You may need to refresh your page after the event begins in order to view this button. |
That's it! You are automatically placed into chats with Attendees as they also become available.
Video & Audio Chats
As a Representative, you have the option to transition from a text-based conversation directly to a video and/or audio chat.
Video and audio chat options are only available once a Representative has been connected to an Attendee. Once you are connected, you can initiate a video or audio call by selecting its icon.
Once you click on an icon, confirm your selection, and then click Start. An invitation to video or audio chat is then sent to the Attendee.
Next, click Allow in the prompt to allow Brazen to access your microphone and camera. Once the Attendee accepts your video or audio chat invitation, you'll be connected with them.
If either party encounters any connectivity issues that block them from accessing video or audio chat, the video or audio invitation is canceled and the chat will resume as a standard text chat. Read this article for more information on technical requirements for video and audio chat.
Chat Countdown Timer
Just like standard text chat booths, video and audio chats are timed - both the Representative and Attendee can see the timer count down as they chat.
In the final two minutes of the chat, Representatives are given the chance to extend the chat by two, five or 10 minutes if needed.
When the chat timer runs out during a video or audio chat, the chat automatically ends, and you are then brought to the rating screen.
