To accept live chats, you have to set your event chat availability and also indicate you are ready to chat in your assigned booth(s). To set yourself as available:
- Slide the toggle next to “Chat Availability” to the right, it will be orange to indicate you are available to chat in the event
- Then, enter the booth you want to chat in, and click the green chat button. You'll be placed in live one-on-one chats as soon as you are matched with an attendee. It's that simple!
If users need to step away from the event or take a break, they can toggle their Chat Availability to unavailable. The user's place in line will be held for them and they will return to that spot in the queue when they turn their Chat Availability back on.
TIP: Want to chat in multiple booths?
On the navigation bar, select manage my chats, and then toggle your status to “available” for the booths you want to chat in. Note: your toggle will show as orange if you are waiting to chat in a booth.
